**Position Summary** The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions at our Gurnee, IL manufacturing site. This role involves ensuring the successful execution of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will work closely with site leadership to foster a positive work environment and support the company's strategic goals. **Position Scope** This is an in-office position that works out of one of our strategic Business Unit headquarters, or a manufacturing site. Reporting into this position is Demand Planners & Supply Chain Analyst globally positioned at strategic locations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** List the key responsibilities for this role. + **Strategic Partnership:** Collaborate with site leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational success. + **Recruitment and Onboarding:** Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to drive the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees. + **Employee Relations:** Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive and inclusive workplace culture. + **Performance Management:** Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems, provide coaching and support to managers, and develop employee development programs. + **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. + **Training and Development:** Identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge. + **Compensation and Benefits:** Administer compensation and benefits programs, conduct salary reviews, and ensure competitive and fair compensation practices. + **HR Policies and Procedures:** Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to align with company goals and legal requirements. + **Health and Safety:** Collaborate with the safety team to promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. + Other duties as may be assigned. **Education & Experience:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration Industrial Organizational Psychology, or a related field; MBA preferred. SHRM or PHR certifications are a plus. + **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a related role; Chemical Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. **Knowledge, Skills, & Talents** + Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. + Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner and align HR initiatives with business goals. **Working Conditions** This position will be required to travel as business needs require up to 10%. **Pay and Benefits** The estimated base pay range for this position is: 115,000 - $140,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
