Roles and Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for employees & managers by providing leadership, coaching and support for individual employee work related matters & assisting them to utilize the HR processes.Partner with HR Business Partners and Center of Expertise to execute business-specific HR strategies.Ensure that all employee relations and union management issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.Assist or lead on HR special projects or initiatives as needed.Guide People Leaders and employees through the Performance @ GE Vernova cycles driving effectiveness of the feedback and development actions.Support the People/HR Operations team on employee queries that require in-country understanding/knowledge.Collaborate with relevant HR Leaders in the region and Global GP to manage employee relations related matters.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a HR related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent).Minimum 6 years prior professional work experience in a Human Resource related area.Approachable and responsive resource that is able to connect with employees at all levels.Sound knowledge of Taiwan labor laws and government requirements including mobility requirements of inbound and outbound employees.Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.Familiarity with working in a matrix organization.
