Who will you be working with?
The HR Manager will provide all facets of HR management for 2 operating entities, one of which is unionized, in Export and Greensburg, PA, and provide strategic partnership with the Business Unit Leaders.

This role will be critical in working across the sites and more broadly across the Components Organization and Wabtec HR to proactively identify and execute on organizational priorities and drive culture change.

The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including talent management, employee engagement, labor relations, compliance, and community outreach, which will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or collegeAt least 3 additional years of experience in a variety of Human Resource positions both staff and client basedPrior labor relations experience: including union relations, contract negotiations and grievance resolution strongly preferredPrior HR Business partnership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment strongly preferredStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to influence & engage at all levels of the businessDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projects and drive changeStrong coaching skillsWhat will your typical day look like?
This role is required to be on-site in a manufacturing setting, and to have strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and supporting the company's overall business objectives. The essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Serve as active business partner for multiple operating entities. Provide guidance and support for full suite of HR functions, including talent management, performance management, organizational change, policy and process implementation, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and facilitating team performance. Partner with business management to develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic environment and develop / implement appropriate change management plans as required. Including recruiting, selection, as well as restructuring, and reduction of the workforce as needed.Oversee labor relations for the sites. Ensure alignment with Components and broader Wabtec labor relations strategy.Serve as the HR Leader for the sites and partner with manager to drive organization-wide initiatives and engage with the plant leadership team to further HR and organizational objectives.Provide coaching, advice, council, and support for Leadership, managers, employees and peers.Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.What about the physical demands of the job?

$77,400.00-$110,300.00The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
