Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000

Human Resources Manager: $85,000-$110,000Human Resources Director: $97,000-$125,000

Travel is 25%.

 

Training for this position is on the job training.

 

Key responsibilities may include: 

Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract quality candidates for union and exempt positions

Conduct interviews and selection of candidates for hire/promotion

Investigate and resolve hotline calls, internal complaints, and EEOC/State agency charges in a thorough manner

Prepare materials and present training to diverse employee groups on various human resources and benefits topics

Proactively anticipate employee concerns and work with department leaders on resolution and handling

Provide career mentoring and counseling for employees in conjunction with leadership

Facilitate and execute various projects to improve processes and meet departmental needs

Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related functions

Multi-task in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapidly changing priorities

Travel up to 25% of the time on the Kansas division

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred for Human Resources Manager role. A bachelor’s degree or higher is required for the HR Director role. The level of position is based on experience and can grow over time. To be considered for the HR Manager role, you must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, or a related field. To be considered for the HR Director role, you must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Human Resources, or a related field.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Self-directed and motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, ExcelPrior experience in employee relations, recruitment, and hiring selection Comprehensive knowledge of all federal and applicable state employment lawsAbility to efficiently manage multiple tasks concurrentlyHigh degree of integrity in handling confidential information
