Position Overview

The Information Technology Human Resources Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our Information Technology (IT) organization. The role will act as a visible partner to the IT organization, working with the Senior HR Manager to address business needs touching all HR functions and capabilities including associate engagement, culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards and employee relations. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives including associate experience, high performance culture, and people analytics.

Partners with the IT leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, workforce assessments, and succession planning.

Defines and executes HR strategies that fully support the company’s objectives while providing great internal business partner support and driving HR functional excellence.

Partner with leadership to build a competitive advantage through people by coaching to optimize growth and team performance.

Provides support and guidance to IT leadership and associates when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.

Promote and inspire a culture of excellence with our IT leaders and associates through the effective application of the ShawWay and Performance Experience (PX).

Provide thought leadership and insightful data to guide decision-making and provide proactive solutions.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Previous Human Resources Manager experience minimum three (3) years.

Excellent organization and communication skills

High business acumen

Ability to navigate ambiguity

Preferred Skills:

Experience in supporting information technology organizations.

Strong attention to details, listening skills, influencing style and proactive solutioning is essential for success.

Must possess a high degree of sensitivity and change management abilities to intercultural personnel and corporate dynamics.

The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous Human Resources related projects and programs in a changing corporate environment.

Working knowledge of Workday (Core HCM) is strongly preferred.
