Human Resources Manager – Blue Ash, OH

Human Resources Manager

What You Will Do:

That means you will need to partner closely with business leaders and team members to deeply understand our business and our people.  You will need to think broadly, be curious, use data to drive decision making and be comfortable challenging the status quo.    You will partner with the business and Human Resource subject matter experts to design and execute your strategy for how we recruit, onboard, develop, engage and retain our team members.  As a champion for Allegion’s culture and values, you will be an integral part of the leadership team and will help build an environment where team members and leaders are safe and healthy, serve others not themselves, celebrate success, feel accountable and empowered to run the business like it is their own, and ultimately when faced with challenges will do the right thing.Understand needs of external and internal customers combined with business process and HR expertise; lead and execute proactive and insightful people strategies.As a skilled coach, partner with leaders, teams, and individuals to help them continuously improve their effectiveness and achieve business and career goals.  Use data and problem-solving methodologies to continuously improve HR processes and service levels to the business. Create an environment of collaborative labor relations which balances the needs of the business, team members and the CBA, including interpretation and administration of the labor agreement and leading contract negotiations.Be visible and engaged on the manufacturing floor on a daily basis.

What You Need to Succeed:

4-year college degree required in human resources/labor/industrial relations or related field7 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources.Labor relations experience in a union environment required.  Experience leading contract negotiations is a plusPrior management experience requiredKnowledge of and experience in factory operations in a manufacturing environment preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.Exceptional at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data and can manage a complex set of stakeholders.Strong communication skills and understand how to communicate large complex change to audiences at all levels of the organization.Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and the next moment being part of complex strategy discussions.Enjoy fast paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to drive large scale changeProvide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation, employee engagement, labor relations, learning and growth, and strategic talent management.Willingness/ability to relocate to other Allegion sites in HR role preferred.
