Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $27.00 to $30.00/hour.

General Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the onboarding process and provides general administrative support for the Human Resources Department for Colorado Convention Center. 


 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and regularly audit all personnel records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and ASM Global standards.

Utilize HRIS and onboarding platforms to track and manage the onboarding workflow.

Process job requisitions in alignment with organizational hiring needs.

Oversee the scheduling and organization of interviews.

Conduct E-Verify checks to ensure employment eligibility compliance.

Initiate and manage background check processes for new hires.

Responsible for placing ads for open positions.

Conduct pre-screening telephone interviews to assess initial candidate suitability.

Communicate hiring decisions to candidates, including notifications for non-selection.

Organize and execute the full onboarding lifecycle for new hires, from offer acceptance to the first day

Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding period.

Conduct 30-day and 90-day check-ins to support new hire engagement and retention.

Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recruitment and onboarding to ensure alignment with current practices and compliance requirements.

Oversee Internship Program

Process employment verifications and respond to proof of employment requests.

Posts, organizes, and maintains HR information on the internet and on company bulletin boards

Maintain and regularly update company bulletin boards to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with labor law posting requirements.

Participates, as schedule and time allows, in the CLIMB employee program

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience, preferred

Customer Service experience
 

Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele

Detail-oriented with excellent time management and the ability to keep tasks and records well-organized.

Ability to speak, understand, and read standard English, required

Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization; skill to work effectively as part of a team

Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

Computer Skills:

Intermediate computer skills including ability to create word documents and excel spreadsheets
