Job Description:Provides consultative leadership on business challenges and associated people and organizational implications. Partners with management of assigned areas to advise on HR-related matters, including organizational design, talent management, human capital metrics, staff engagement, performance management, total rewards and change management. This role serves as an integral member of the management team, providing strategic thought leadership and representing management needs to the collective HR community. Responsible for championing HR initiatives within area. Collaborates with functional HR experts to leverage their knowledge as appropriate. Responsible for addressing employee relations matters and day-to-day collective bargaining administration as applicable.

Business Partners in level 1 roles typically support supervisors, managers and directors. In a level 1 role, business partners can expect to receive input and seek guidance from other members of the Human Resources team to complete work assignments. Assignments will be evaluated for the appropriate level of complexity, risk and scope based on the experience of the business partner.

Work Experience:
1 year experience in a generalist role preferred

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR management or related field
