Pet Insurance: Customize a plan that fits your budget, covering accidents, illnesses, and wellness, with Spot Pet Insurance. #BenA What you will do: Review background checks of prospective candidates to ensure they meet hiring standards and collaborate with the recruiting team on open positions, escalating hard-to-fill or aging requisitions Perform routine administrative tasks, including reviewing disciplinary actions, assisting with quarterly enrollment in development courses, processing compensation forms, and producing reports for leadership Handle employment-related inquiries (benefits, policies, etc.) and escalate issues as needed Organize and track employee development plans to enhance skill sets, and support the annual performance appraisal cycle, assisting managers throughout the process Participate in the development of HR objectives, metrics, and reports to meet company goals and identify trends Assist in creating and implementing performance improvement plans as needed Maintain and audit employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance Review incident reports to help foster a safety-first culture Support senior HR and legal teams during collective bargaining by preparing documents, organizing notes, and ensuring availability of records and materials Monitor compliance with union agreements, ensuring policies, benefits, pay scales, and working conditions align with contractual terms What you will bring: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage time effectively and consistently meet deadlines Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using Excel High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion Keen attention to detail and an eye for identifying trends in data Excellent problem-solving abilities with clear and effective communication
