The Position

The Global Delivery Operations (GDO) HR Shared Services Specialist will provide day-to-day management support for Organon’s HR Service Providers as well as other HR Service Delivery functions to ensure a smooth and positive experience for internal clients. In addition, the HR Specialist will support continuous improvement initiatives and projects to deliver business value for GDO.

Customers include HR Service Delivery providers and internal teams, HR Teams and HR Centers of Expertise (e.g. Global Talent Attraction, HR Solutions, etc.). The specialist will provide support in resolving escalated issues, serving as a point of contact for external HR providers and will maintain oversight of ancillary processes such as knowledge management.

Responsabilities

More specifically, primary activities include, but are not limited to:

Act as a functional area subject matter expert to oversee end-to-end HR service delivery through vendorsSupport day-to-day vendor management for case escalations from HR and Tier 1 HR support teamsUtilize HR case management and knowledge management system to obtain resolutions and document/track casesBuild & maintain a knowledge base and create new knowledge articles if needed to be used in HR Information Systems as well as in HR Chatbots, work with regional Tier 2 teams on regional specific items as neededResearch and analyze data and information, navigate multiple systems, resources, and tools to investigate and provide continuous improvement adviceSupport Service Delivery clients in vendor governance & management through proactive data analysis and reportingPartner proactively with HR Service Delivery to provide guidance and coaching; identify when additional training or knowledge is needed to prevent escalationsParticipate on continuous improvement projects or teams as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

What we Require of You:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher - Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree applicable years of experienceAt least 3 years of related work experience, e.g., Human Resources, Shared Services, Talent Acquisition or Customer CareProcess orientation - problem solving and root cause identification skillsExcellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken). Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.Understanding of different roles and responsibilities within the Human Resources FunctionStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
