Human Resources Specialist
We are looking for a Global HR Specialist to join our Global HR team! This is a fundamental role in the HR team and will be central to ensuring HR operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role will be responsible for HR within the German market and possibly other European markets. 
The day-to-day work of this role will support all stages of the employee lifecycle for employees including delivery of employee onboarding, facilitating training, WorkDay processing, working to resolve employee queries, managing employee relations cases, and partnering with the German Works Council and other key stakeholders in Employment Legal, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and many others to improve processes and resolve labor law issues. What You'll Do Manage all WorkDay processing and employee questions from onboarding to off-boarding for all employees in Germany and other European marketsBe the local specialist providing hands-on labor law advice and support for GermanyPartner with the German Works CouncilPartner with Employment Legal, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and many others to understand and resolve local issuesUpdate and adjust processes and content, if needed, based on new local labor lawsManage projects with various stakeholders to improve and streamline processesDelivering training to support manager development and HR Reviewing HR processes and suggesting changes to improve efficiency and scalability
Who You Are At least 5 years of experience working in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, HR Specialist, People Operations, or HR Manager roleExperience collaborating with global stakeholders at a dynamic organizationRelevant experience working at a technology company is advantageous Fluency in the German languageStrong knowledge of Germany and other European local labor regulations and employment practices as well as a desire to learn moreExperience working with Works Councils and managing these partnershipsAbility to manage employee relations cases, such as performance management, harassment, discrimination, and other policy violations, from intake through investigationAbility to work collaboratively, being inclusive of all partnersAbility to work independently and comfortable working in a distributed settingAbility to productively challenge and influence other teams and managersAbility to prioritize well and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing demands where being resourceful to find answers is keyStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate a solution-focused approach to problem-solving, with the ability to find pragmatic outcomesWhere You'll Be This role may be based either in our London or Stockholm offices
