About the Position: THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT AMCOM, DEPUTY COS, G1 (HR), OPNS AND STRATEGIC RECRUITMENT, REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL. The pay band for this position, NH-03, is equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. This position has a salary control point of GS-13, Step 10. Responsibilities Provides expert staff advisory services to leadership, subordinate organization leadership on specific and enterprise-wide issues. Coordinate specific management and employee relations matters to ensure adherence to laws, regulations and policies. Develop studies to identify the most effective alignment of human resources systems to support enterprise strategic goals and objectives. Compiles statistical data used to evaluate programs and recommends corrective actions/improvements as required. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) Providing interpretation on human resources laws, regulations, policies, and procedures (2) Researching the full range of diverse enterprise program issues. (3) Implements civilian personnel programs by developing and recommending changes to personnel management policies and procedures impacting civilian programs (4) Advises senior leadership on human capital strategic issues. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer Literacy Personnel and Human Resources Strategic Workforce Planning Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
