Summary:

Vighter is recruiting multiple Human Resources (HR) Specialists who will be responsible for carrying out specific human resources functions within the organization, which can include tasks such as onboarding new employees, managing employee benefits, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Education, Licensure/Certification & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar Human Resources role. Paycom HRIS experience is strongly preferred. Benefits experience is strongly preferred. Worker’s Compensation experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR products and processes is preferred. Understanding of the full cycle recruitment process and the HR inputs to that process. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Must have exceptional customer service skills. Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. Creates, implements, and evaluates all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures in accordance with the Scope of Work and applicable law, policy and statute. Supports HR Lead with benefit programs. Designs and implements effective training and development plans. Coordinates Worker’s Compensation paperwork. Ensures all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status. Identifies the company's hiring needs and manages portions of the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly. Responds to employee queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Assists with reports and analyzing data.

Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:

The corporate office is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; however, during times of rapid mobilization, hours may be extended to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Travel:

As required to satisfy the contractual obligations. Generally, travel is limited to commute from residence to the worksite. Commute is non-compensatory

Qualifications:

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and/or sit for more than 8 hours per day. Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 10 feet. Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders. Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print. Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear. Must be willing to work day, night, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and overtime if necessary. Must be able to perform duties in an indoor and/or outdoor environment. Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation. Candidate must not have been convicted of, pled guilty to, pled nolo contender to, or received probation prior to judgement for any crime other than a minor traffic violation, the record of which has not been expunged. Must undergo Urine Drug Screening (UDS).
