As an HR Specialty Service Advisor on the Workplace Accommodations team, you will be responsible for delivering a best in class, simplified and personalized experience to current and former employees in support of their HR needs. You will be required to adhere to company policy and guidelines in support of our mission to make dreams possible for everyone, everywhere, every day.
As part of your daily duties, you will interact with all employee types at various levels on a range of topics and/or issues (sensitive, routine, etc.) requiring strong attention to detail, thoughtful and empathetic support while producing high quality work and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. In this role, you’ll also be responsible for performing root cause analysis in order to recommend products and processes improvements.
Job Responsibilities (Accommodations)
Collaborate on a centralized accommodations team servicing employees across the firm from multiple lines of businesses. Receive accommodation requests and ensure the firm helps provide for the employee’s individual disability needs. Supporting both employees and managers for complex Human Resources product offerings in regards to Accommodations. Develop and maintain key partner relationships; Employee Relations, Office of Disability & Inclusion, Health Services etc. Demonstrates strong service knowledge to help resolve manager and employee issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high-quality client experience. Providing knowledge of Human Resources servicing, policies and processes and to act as an intermediary with other HR teams. Process Improvement: evaluate processes, resources, etc. to streamline current and future functions of the team. Stay abreast of changes within the JPMorgan Chase & Co. lines of businesses; policy, procedures and processes. Capable of handling highly sensitive complex accommodations and confidential matters with risk mitigation mindset Participate in a highly collaborative workplace with agile staff meetings and in a fast-paced quickly changing landscape. Support coaching, testing and other functional activities as assigned
Qualifications
At least 3 years of accommodations and/or Human Resources generalist experience required Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. Able to influence stakeholders and feel comfortable with ambiguity. Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities while remaining proactive and flexible in style. Client-service focused team player who operates with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Knows when to escalate matters for appropriate resolution. Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources systems preferred Strong negotiation, customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills Critical thinking and analytical skills; identify issues and trends; exceptional judgment, demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions, while preserving the Firm’s risk and control standards. Comfortable working in high risk environment College or professional certification/credential in the area of Human Resources, leaves, insurance or disability administration desired (CDMS, CRC, CCM, PHR, SPHR, etc.)
Work Schedule
Must be able to work flexible hours Monday through Friday; some schedules may include Saturday Must be able to work overtime and weekends to support business needs
