This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and administrative support. You’ll work closely with the HR Director, HR Manager, HR Coordinator, and Talent Acquisition team to assist with essential HR tasks and gain exposure to the inner workings of a dynamic HR department. **Job Responsibilities:** + Provide support to the HR Director, HR Manager, HR Coordinator, and broader HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. + Update and maintain HR document templates, including disciplinary actions, hiring forms, e-signatures, and job descriptions. + Conduct audits of I-9 forms to ensure compliance and accuracy. + Gain exposure to various HR functions, such as onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and training initiatives. + Assist with recordkeeping and data entry while maintaining strict confidentiality of personnel and candidate information. + Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies. + Potential for a flexible work schedule and remote work upon completion of training. + Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR department. **Required Qualifications:** + Currently enrolled in a College or University with Human Resources major. + A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment. + Self-motivated and able to work independently once assigned a task. + Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems. + Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail. + Interest in gaining hands-on experience in HR operations with potential career growth in the field. **About Us:** _The UES Texas Region includes 4 powerhouse legacy firms from the geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and environmental consulting arenas: Alpha Testing, Rock Engineering & Testing, Riner Engineering, and InControl Technologies._ _Now, as we work together as_ **_Team UES_** _, our core values continue to portray who we are and what we believe.
