As the HR Supervisor for MnDOT’s District 8, you will provide supervisory leadership and guidance to the Human Resources Office and District 8 activities to ensure that human resource activities are successfully performed and district work planning objectives are met for strategic staffing, selection, classification, labor relations, compensation, training and development, worker’s compensation, affirmative action, drug and alcohol testing and transactions and benefit administration. Local travel including some overnight travel is required. This position is located in Willmar, MN and has the flexibility to telework on a part-time (hybrid) basis or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. **Minimum Qualifications** Three (3) years of professional human resources experience that demonstrates the following: + Experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying federal and state personnel laws, rules, procedures, labor contracts, and plans. + Experience in labor relations, including handling grievances, conducting investigations, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining effective labor-management relationships. + Experience in HR related activities such as job evaluation, recruitment and selection, compensation, worker’s compensation, benefits, and equal opportunity employment/affirmative action.
