Human Resources Technology Product Owner

About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Technology Product Owner located in one of the following locations: Midland (MI, USA), Houston (TX, USA), Sao Paulo (BRA) or Terneuzen (NLD).


In this Product Owner role, you will enable a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional HR service delivery and support for processes specific to global learning and talent management solutions/technologies. You will own the relationship between Dow and the third-party technology provider(s), particularly with respect to the version of the technology that Dow has opted to leverage for its use.
 
Responsibilities

Deliver product functionality, including Learning Management Systems, to enable HR strategy and ensure product performance meets key indicators.Collaborate with Global Experience Leader and Global Talent Management & Learning SMEs to support business process improvements and functionality enhancements.Lead HR continuous improvement projects, including requirements, design, testing, implementation, training, and end-user support.Manage implementation/upgrade schedules to minimize disruptions and maximize usage of new capabilities.Develop and implement strategies for comprehensive product lifecycle management.Engage with third-party contacts to establish, develop, and review services available to Dow.
 

Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience.For U.S. Applicants: A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process

 
Preferred Skills

Experience in HR or IT roles, including HR Technology platforms and Learning Management Systems.Agile portfolio or program management experience.Strong leadership skills, building successful relationships in diverse teams.Ability to resolve issues collaboratively while maintaining responsibility and accountability.Proven ability to challenge the status quo and lead through influence.High tolerance for ambiguity, with strong problem resolution skills and a focus on employee experience and customer solutions.
