Summary
We are looking to hire a Humanities & Social Sciences Academic Coordinator to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for monitoring tutors, ensuring that their performance and the sessions they give meet the required standards, and facilitating communication between the tutors and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and suggest new assessment tools and methodologies to assess tutors’ performanceAssess the tutors' performance to ensure that it meets the required standards, using the proper systems, tools, and methodologiesRegularly assess the educational material provided to the tutors and manage their orientation and trainingManage the feedback process between the tutors and the Content Unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality content on timeEnsure that all tutors are informed of our policies and procedures or any changes that might take placeCommunicate marketplace updates, that is, either new curriculums or new teaching methodologies applied by the Ministry of Education or teaching centersPlan the schedules of all the subjects according to the tutors' availability and manage tutors' requests like schedule changesQualifications & Work Experience
Background in humanities and social sciences is a must3+ years of experience in the educational fieldKnowledge of pedagogical approaches is preferableExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsThe ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and a strong sense of responsibilityKnowledge of tutoring’s best practices and effective communicationBehavioural Competencies
