Job Description The HV Engineering Manager should have knowledge of most aspects of MV/HV electrical engineering; while not conducting the work, the individual should be able to review and comment on any of the below with minimal support from other engineering staff: * HV Transmission and Substation SLD/Layouts * Ampacity, short circuit, and protection coordination studies * Technical studies such as harmonics, transients, Ampacity, Short Circuit, Load Flow, Grounding, and any other study to the HV and MV field. The ability to assume responsibility, interface, and coordinate with others is required as portions of the engineering effort will be subcontracted out which is managed by the HV Engineering PM. Skills and Requirements * A minimum of 7 years' experience in the construction of renewable HV Substation and Transmission projects. o Background within electrical engineering, project management, high voltage substation and transmission lines o Renewables industry background * Ability to work on multiple projects at any time. Designs can be 3-6 months in duration with multiple proceedings at the same time while supporting estimating with bid packages. o Solar battery, substations, high voltage projects, transmission lines, etc. * Fluency with remote productivity software such as but not limited to: Box, Cisco, GoTo Meeting. * Must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD e null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
