Position Overview

The Assoc. 3D Render Artist is responsible for the creation of event set and ballroom options with an understanding of floorplans, equipment, visual outcomes, room dimensions, and executional viability. This position will assist the 3D Render Artist in increase capture and conversion of new opportunities through collaborating on 3D event set renderings and venue ballroom modeling.

Key Job Responsibilities 

Set Creation, Ballroom Modeling

• Assist in 3D renderings and venue ballroom models that support the overall vision of the event environment.

• Utilize various 3D design software, singularly or as part of a 3D design team, to create deliverables by leveraging various digital art disciplines to match the appropriate output from line drawing to grey models to photo realistic. 

• Ensure deliverables meet the quality standards.  

Creative Sales Enablement

• Ability to translate direction from third party and adapt direction into design execution. 

• Work with members of the design team to develop concepts that are of excellent quality and executable within an appropriate timeframe and within budget parameters.

• Work within proposal process and timelines.  

Visualization Tools and Data Management

• Utilize a content database that houses a variety of set design collateral. 

• Contribute to continual updates of content database for shared access with the creative sales enablement team. 

• Provide workload and effort information for the creative sales enablement activity dashboard to support aggregation of all relevant data.

• Organize and maintain workstation to ensure efficient operation.  

• Hardware and software will be kept current through regular updates.  

• Authoring files, assets, drafts, and final masters will be organized and appropriately backed up.  

• Proper filing methods and naming conventions will be maintained.  

• Adhere to standard operating procedures for artwork deliverables, content organization and scope of work development.  

Job Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in related field or equivalent education and experience

• 3-5 years’ experience working in 3D set visualization

• Event and meeting industry-related experience preferred

• Ability to be part of and work within a larger creative team

• Advanced knowledge of various visualization tools, e.g. 360 Panorama

• Advanced visualization software training (Vivien, etc.)

• Advanced skills with 3D design rendering tools, including 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, or Unreal Engine

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, e.g. Photoshop preferred

• Ability to execute project timelines and responsibilities

Work Environment

Office

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
