The HVAC / Building Automation Field Service Technician II performs preventive maintenance and provides technical support or basic troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems categories as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.
Job Duties:
Perform preventative maintenance and escalate issues found accordingly Verify system functionality to ensure proper operation Promote, build, and maintain good customer relationships while keeping supervisor informed of system status and actual/potential customer issues Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations Proper use of safety personal protection equipment Security and other clearances as required by customerThe salary range for this position is $44,200. - $55,200. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
YOU MUST HAVETechnical aptitude and/or trainingCan identify/use trade tools appropriately Ability to work independently up to 25% of the timeSome knowledge of basic electrical, fire system, sensors, or robotics principals High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to HoneywellWE VALUE:
