The HVAC Controls – Sr. Field Service Technician responds to\nand resolve complex service calls providing technical support and\ntroubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to\nthe technical delivery of small service jobs, time and work material, and\npreventive maintenance may be assigned as well. These customers will have\nvarious products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life\nsafety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated\ncomputer systems.  

Key Responsibilities

Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex issuesCan program more than one systemPerform system\nback-ups and install appropriate updates and patchesRun one-off problems,\nscenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customerProgram EBI’sUnderstand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and\nnetworking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess\ncertifications)Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual\nobligationsProper use of safety personal protection equipmentSecurity and other clearances as required by customer

Must Have:

2 years of experienceCertifications required for system specific workAbility to work independently 75% of the timeHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight staysValid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
