Discover Impactful Work:
Responsible for the site’s secondary utility and mechanical systems including Air Handling Units, Dust Collection Units, Central Vacuum system, Chilled Water, Steam, and Reheat systems. Responsibilities encompass technical support for new construction design, existing re-designs and upgrades, and setting maintenance expectations for preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.
A Day in the Life:
Partner with Building Automation System (BAS) and Electrical System Owner for electrical support.Support Temperature, Humidity and Pressure program and resolve any issues.Proactively drive quality improvements to designated mechanical systems.Participates in inspection readiness activities and may also be involved in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.Support resolution of HVAC related quality deviations ensuring all compliance, regulatory, and customer expectations are met.Use Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop and action routine maintenance plan.Collaborate with multi-functional project teams, maintenance, engineering, and daily department communication meetings.Keys to Success:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required. A Mechanical Degree is preferred.3+ years experience with mechanical and HVAC systems or related experience is required.Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment is strongly desiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
Prior CAD, Simulation Software, SAP, ERP systems, Maximo and/or TrackWise experienceQuality, continuous improvement, process and manufacturing investigation and technical writing experienceSound problem-solving skills and good verbal/written communication skills.Must have independent decision-making capabilities and ability to think conceptually and understand impact of decisions.Possess emerging leadership and mentoring skills.This position does not offer relocation benefits.
