Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

NOTE - Position is shift work at a remote, safety sensitive location.  Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test before they can be employed.

Understanding all safety procedures of work place.Removing and installing air quality systemsMeeting compliance requirement documentationTesting for leaks using various testing toolsMaintaining and repairing electrical components of HVAC equipmentReviewing historical repair records to create an effective inspection scheduleCommunicating with clientsInspecting plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation while adhering to environmentally friendly guidelinesThe ability to follow instructions and analyze systemsProblem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to interpret schematics and wiring diagramsExcellent interpersonal skills to respond to clients complaints, questions and needsAbility to interpret technical data such as temperature and pressureAbility to operate and repair various HVAC equipmentCleans and stores tools and equipment and cleans work sites. Maintain site equipment to the highest possible condition.Liaise with the Area Superintendent and Maintenance Planner to keep up to all maintenance issues and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.Ensure all site equipment is in good repair.Effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlinesInteracting with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems on site.Complying with all of company safety policies & proceduresWears required Personal Protective Equipment at all times during work hours. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Valid drivers License.Work requires an education background normally equivalent to high school and a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certification.Work requires practical knowledge of the application of electrical techniques and methods normally acquired through 5 years of electrical experience.   Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade.Able to demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision-making skills.Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines.Able to work individually and as a team member.Able to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to health/safety of self and co-workers.
