Where is the work:
This is an on-site position located at the Trane Technologies campus in Davidson, NC.
What you will do:
Lead by example in workplace safety, in accordance with company policies and proceduresLead installation, modification, troubleshooting and repair of developmental commercial HVAC equipment and components, following engineering, agency, and test requirements Lead product development activities by operating commercial HVAC equipment, controlling test facilities, and collecting and reviewing experimental test dataWork with Test Engineering and other technicians to install and utilize laboratory test equipment including data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow equipment, pressure, and temperature measurement devicesLead efforts to troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC technologies and equipment as part of the lab facilities and products under testMentor others on HVAC systems, refrigeration, instrumentation, and test processesInterpret test standards and support the creation and improvement of test proceduresWhat you will bring:
Candidates without a degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles
· Associates degree in HVAC or related technical field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or at least 12 years of commercial HVAC or compressor experience.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
· EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified
Compensation:
Salary range: $70,000-$100,000
