Summary: Seeking an Engineer specialized in HVAC/Refrigeration for supporting various phases of Environmental Control Unit (ECU) and Liquid Chiller projects.
Job Requirements:
US citizenship or permanent residency strongly preferred due to ITAR requirements
B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
Basic understanding of refrigeration systems
Proficiency in using commercial CAD (Solidworks) and FEA (Solidworks) tools, along with refrigeration system design tools
3-5 years of hands-on experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and prototype hardware fabrication and testing
Preferred Skills:
Strong technical background with experience in design for manufacturability of complex systems
Job Responsibilities:
Generate innovative concepts for initial product design
Conduct analytical analysis using Excel or hand calculations
Design refrigeration (Vapor Compression) systems and select components
Generate refrigeration schematics, Requirements and Verification Matrix (RVM), and Compliance Matrix
Create 3-D CAD models and 2-D drawings using Solidworks
Develop fabrication procedures and work instructions
Collaborate with a diverse group of engineers and technicians
Manage program schedules and budget
Communicate frequently with customers
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
