There are multiple vacancies. The person applying must possess two years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of heating, ventilating, or air conditioning systems. The starting pay for this position is $21.05 with an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only, rate may be adjusted based on applicants’ qualifications. Performs preventive maintenance duties on motors: adding coolant, adjusting controls, changing filters, etc. Recharges air conditioning systems with proper amount of lubricant or refrigerant. Overhauls and repairs pumps, motors, control systems, piping, and other equipment used in refrigerating and air conditioning systems. Reports temperatures produced by machines and makes necessary adjustments to produce desired temperatures. Installs, replaces, adjusts, and calibrates major components of refrigeration units: compressors, condensers, expansion valves, service valves, thermostats, coils, and drive assemblies.
