Job Description

The HVAC Specialist maintains buildings, repairs and perform preventive maintenance as necessary on equipment. Conducts inspection to meet TJC, OSHA, state, and federal regulations.

Job Duties

Maintenance and repair task requiring skills that include HVAC.Maintenance and repair task requiring skills that include medication storage containers.Other duties as assigned.Tasks performed in accordance with federal, state, and local codes and JC requirements.Follows Departmental and Hospital Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

Technical DiplomaFive years’ experience OR Completion of HVAC accredited course-technical/trade school with a minimum of one year of experience OR Completion of HVAC apprentice program via union. This equates to five years of experience.Must have refrigeration license.

Preferred Requirements

HVAC license is preferred.
