Nuclear HVAC Technician

Technicians install and repair heating and air quality systems. They specialize in installation or repair, certain types of systems or equipment.

 

Education / Training Requirements

High School diploma Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access Pass initial and annual Radiation Worker Training HVAC training either through an academic program or apprenticeship

 

Minimum Skill Requirements and Accountabilities

Follow safe work practices Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets / forms properly Practice Foreign Material Exclusion and housekeeping per station directives Lead or participate in Pre-Job Briefings Certified through the Environmental Protection Agency

 

HVAC Mechanic  I –Industrial experience

HVAC Mechanic  II – experience and satisfactory performance

HVAC Mechanic  III –experience and satisfactory performance

HVAC Mechanic  IIII –experience and satisfactory performance
