Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice and Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions. Our service team stays busy year-round.
ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain HVAC systems including boilers and refrigeration units, rooftop package equipment ranging from 2 to 75 tons.Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality.Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.Collaborate with design teams to ensure HVAC systems meet specifications and client requirements.Document service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.Adhere to safety protocols while working with hazardous materials such as ammonia in refrigeration systems.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years’ experience as an HVAC Technician in the HVAC mechanical field.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems.Familiarity with welding and HVAC refrigeration systems.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools including Ohmmeters for electrical testing.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.EPA certifications Type I, II, III, and Universal certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with boilers, chillers, and preventative maintenance.Good customer service skills.Experience in field service and maintenance technician roles.Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and sheet metal.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a collaborative environment with a big team of reputable managers and HVAC technicians. The work location is in San Jose, CA, requiring in-person attendance. The schedule is an 8-hour shift with the possibility of overtime pay.
