Install, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair components, controls and related equipment for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, cooling, ventilating units and systems, utilizing appropriate equipment and tools. **Primary Duties and Accountabilities** · Perform layouts, specify lists of materials and parts to complete repairs. · Perform brazing, soldering, flame cutting operations as required. · Fabricate and install refrigerant piping systems. · Completes necessary paperwork and reports. · Reviews and analyzes problems to recommend improvements. **Minimum Qualifications** · Must be a High School graduate or GED. · Must have completed a Certified/Accredited HVAC Program that includes maintenance and repair of the equipment. · Must successfully complete and maintain mechanical/HVAC qualification book as determined by the Company. · Must be certified for Freon recovery. · May be subject to certification and recertification to align with industry standards. · Must be Certified to handle the refrigerant required for the Facility. · Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position. · Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations. · Must satisfactorily complete Plant Access Training. · Must complete the Radiation Safety Training. · Must maintain unescorted access.
