The HVAC Technician maintains all of the HVAC equipment within the hospital under the supervision of the Facilities technical lead. Duties include inspecting, testing and operating all HVAC equipment and systems and repairing and replacing systems, sub-systems, equipment and parts as needed. This position also helps to implement the preventive maintenance program, as well as inspecting, adjusting and maintaining controls to provide a comfortable and safe environment. The HVAC tech is part of a 3 staff department with some on-call required. Required: High School diploma/equivalent or Trade School diploma required. EPA certification is preferred. Must have knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools and proven skills in heating and ventilation. Commercial experience preferred.
