What You Will Do: 

Operate, install, troubleshoot and repair all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration related electromechanical equipment and HVAC related systems throughout various facilities.  Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical, electronics, pneumatics and mechanical applications of systems.  Utilize a basic understanding of the following, but not limited to, air handling units (AHU's), freezers, walk-in refrigerators, special room air balancing (i.e. isolation systems and laminar flow systems), laminar flow systems motor controllers, HEPA filtering requirements, and electronic, HVAC/VAV boxes.  Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need: 

A High School Diploma or GED required. A Universal CFC. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Basic computer skills. General knowledge of electrical, electronics, mechanical equipment repair and HVAC related systems. Current knowledge of various federal; state; local; OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations. General knowledge of HVAC codes applicable to hospitals. Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams. Experience working in industrial or commercial maintenance is preferred. Experience working with BMS software: Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Insight, and Siemens Desigo preferred.
