EMCOR Construction Services Midwest (ECS) is the energy division of Shambaugh & Son L.P.’s HAVEL division. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., a construction/engineering firm. We specialize in the Design-Build method of construction resulting in fast-track delivery of the project improvements for our clients. We are one of the largest specialty contractors in the U.S. and the only one with all eight M.E.P (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Automation, Refrigeration, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) design and installation capabilities in-house. We perform over $800 million of construction projects each year with over 2,700 employees throughout 50 states from our home office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Job Summary
EMCOR Construction Services Midwest is seeking a Project Manager to provide supervision for installation of mechanical/HVAC systems, building automation and security access, and general construction trades. The Project Manager will interact with ECS’s Engineering team by scheduling engineering, construction trades, and commissioning. This role will coordinate field labor and material and perform job site inspections and conduct regularly scheduled job site meetings. They will ensure that clear project scope, intent and definition are conveyed in all team members to properly coordinate constructability and project performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Generating construction schedules and updating of same (MS Project). Reading and interpreting plans and specifications for the purpose of ordering material and developing sequences of construction. Order and track material and equipment procurement for timely delivery to the job site and any required coordination and logistics. Conduct job site inspections and run progress meetings. Communicate with customer to maintain clear direction and coordination. Plan manpower needs and schedule with other team members to staff the project. Participate in project financial meetings. 8+ years of experience in the Construction industry.
Extensive knowledge in the HVACR industry.
Communication skills in dealing with job site issues, engineers and customers are mandatory.
Experience in MS Office and Lotus Notes will be helpful.
Computer literate and comfortable with spreadsheets, email and project scheduling software.
Anticipate requirements and cost components of Design-Build projects.
This person should be self-motivated, innovative, competent, responsible, proficient, and organized.
This person should be personable and must work well in a team environment.
Intrastate travel required. Active driver license status a must.
