Job Description SummaryHVDC Projects are large and complex projects with multiple sites across the world and international teams involved. HVDC Project Planner is part of the Project Controls team and his/her role is to develop and manage the project schedule, aligning with all functions.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Key member of the project team providing schedule status to the PM and to the Lead Project PlannerDevelops and maintains the project schedule by integrating inputs from all functions, units and third parties contributing to the projectCommunicate about the schedule status to the Lead Planner, Project Manager, supplier and third parties.Provides schedule analysis to determine project schedule risks and opportunities then works with project team members to drive risk mitigation strategiesProvides look ahead, backlog and future late reporting with prioritizations to clearly communicate potential and real risk and drive the project prioritiesProvides regular status reporting with forecasting and analytics to project team membersProvides contractually required customer reporting and is able to communicate directly with customers on scheduling mattersPreparation of critical path analysis and work with multiple critical and near critical pathsGenerates \"what if” scenarios to optimize execution and works with project teams to evaluate feasibilityAligns with cost controlling function to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule to ensure accurate project executionSupport change order analysis with schedule analytics and forecastsLoad and manage resources into the project scheduleQualifications:
Graduate in Engineering or Economic studiesExperience and Knowledge
As part of a project team, several years of experience in planning managementApplication of planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress, resource loading)Application of Primavera P6Behavioral skills / competencies
Fluent in English is a must, German would be a plusLikes to work in a Team with active collaborationContribute to the decision makingCritical approach of data on handsRigor and TransparencyProactivity & Anticipation and problem solving attitudeAs a Plus
Carried out organizational and strategic planning process would be appreciatedPlanning integration principles and methodsContract management: made EOTs and supported negotiationsRisk managementExperience with CPA and EOT/delay analysisExperience in Substations
