Intel Integrated Photonics Solutions (IPS) Division is seeking an engineer to be part of a development team for optoelectronic technologies based on Si-Photonics. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team demonstrating integrated SiPh optoelectronic circuits and subsystems for data center connectivity and other applications.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Defining the methodologies and test plans for characterizing DC and high-speed performance of photonics integrated chipsPlanning, building and qualifying testing infrastructure, developing equipment control software (using Python) and enabling R&D test automation and executing experimentsAnalyzing data, conducting data reviews, and making design recommendationsDebugging unexpected results and discrepancies
Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum qualifications: 

The candidate must possess the following;

Ph.D or Master's in with 3years work experience in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Science, or related disciplines.Experienced with Python scripting for design of experiments and automation.High-speed testing involving VNAs, AWGs, DCA, and coherent equipment is a bonus.Experience with different modulation formats (PAM4, NRZ) is a bonus.Experience in photonics device physics, semiconductor lasers, optical amplifiers, fiber optics, and integrated optics is a bonus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $161,230.00-$227,620.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
