Our team is responsible for delivering high quality hardware systems for Cisco's switching and routing portfolios.

 

 

Your Impact

As key member of Cisco System hardware team, the individual will define and design next generation high-end switch/router families. Responsibilities include HW system architecture definition and working with silicon vendors to figure out the optimized solution and providing HW and architecture requirements to JDMs for development, driving product cost down, fix issues during development and eventually deliver high quality products

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of overall Switching/Router product, board/system design experienceExcellent understanding of x86/ARM CPU architecture and strong develop experience on them

•            Excellent understanding on common HW technology, including power, clock, memory, FPGA and variety of interfaces.

•            Full experience on complex high-speed (56G/112G Serdes) board design and board bring-up.

•            Proactive and Ability to communicate clearly with XFT team

•            Strong Oral and Written English capability

 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge on switching features (QoS/ACL, VLAN, IGMP, etc…) is a plus.

Knowledge on Linux, driver, BIOS

Experience on Verilog HDL
