You will have a unique opportunity to be part of the Baseband & SoC development unit, a team of experts developing and testing baseband hardware and platform software, the essential parts of the mobile telecommunication systems deployed worldwide, with a strong focus on leading 4G, 5G and upcoming 6G technologies.
In the hardware integration and verification domain, our mission is to test hardware utilizing a fully automated testing environment and advanced testing equipment. As HW Integration Engineer you will have an opportunity to work closely with both hardware and software, contribute to its design, create complex testing scenarios and troubleshoot potential issues in the laboratory.
You have :
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent educationExperience in selected areas: digital hardware/embedded systems, low-level software, slow hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI), electrical and fiber-optics high-speed data interfaces (Ethernet), timing and synchronization, hardware measurement equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator/analyzer)Experience in software/hardware testing: design, execution, reporting, debugging and automationExperience is testing scripts/frameworks development (e.g. Python/Shell, Bash, C) and version control systems (Git, Gerrit)Understanding of Linux basicsUnderstanding of IP networks Understanding of mobile (LTE/5G) and fiber-optics telecommunication systemsGood communication skills in English, both written and spokenDrive for results, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skillsIt would be nice if you also had:
Knowledge of software/hardware specification, development and testing processesReadiness to relocate to Wrocław, living in or nearbyPlan, design, execute and report hardware integration tests (focusing on baseband) in multiple domains like low-level hardware-software integration, digital components (CPU/DSP/Clock/memory) verification, slow & high-speed interfaces integration or system timing measurements Setup of test environment utilizing advanced laboratory infrastructure and external test equipment, including automation and remote controlDefine and create Python-based framework solutions for testing purposesDiscover, debug, report and contribute to solving hardware and software related problemsContribute to the new hardware and software feature creation process from a testing perspective, by preparing integration plans and providing feature implementation aspects.
