We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing automated test frameworks for systems validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and experience working with embedded systems. This role requires 5-10 years of experience in system validation, with a focus on automation testing.
Work Experience
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Hardware systems validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop test plans
Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented Python code for automated tests
Develop and execute test scripts to validate embedded system functionality
Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing
Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience in system validation, with a focus on automation testing
Strong proficiency in Python programming language
Experience working with embedded systems, including microcontrollers and SoC's
Knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Pytest, Unittest, or Robot Framework
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have:
Experience with Linux-based operating systems
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Perl
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Experience with agile development methodologies
Certification in automation testing or a related field
