Pay Range: $38.46 – $43.27/hr. (eligible for overtime pay for any overtime worked during initial contract period)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Systems Accountant to join our client's team in Des Moines. In this hybrid role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of their Oracle Financial System, supporting users, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The company is a leading force within the Media industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the general ledger, accounts payable, and project modules within the Oracle Financial System.Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle system users, providing daily support and troubleshooting.Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Collaborate with financial staff across all operating groups to support reporting and reconciliation needs.Act as the Blackline System Administrator, including preparation of select balance sheet account reconciliations.Ensure the accuracy of all financial reports generated from the Oracle system.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.3–5 years of relevant experience in financial systems or accounting roles.Advanced knowledge of Oracle Financial Systems.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.Work EnvironmentHybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.Training Period: Increased in-office presence expected during onboarding.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
