As the Support Counselor, you will implement treatment plans, offer behavioral coaching, and complete mental health note capturing outcomes of your interventions and services. You will have the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide child and family focused services within the community. Services for families will take place in-person within the community (Fairfield, Vallejo) while other work can be completed remotely.

 

ABOUT KAISER WRAPAROUND

This Kaiser Wraparound Program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca Family of Agencies, providing behaviorally focused mental health services to children and families. The program aims to provide children and their families with the support and services they need for children to maintain the lowest level of care possible and avoid out of home placements (group homes, juvenile hall, and hospitalization). Services for families will take place in-person within the community (Solano County) while other work can be completed remotely.

Responsibilities Contribute to the development of treatment plans by working with clients to identify the function of their behavior/symptoms and effective replacement behaviorsProvide behavioral coaching, counseling, skill building, case management, and crisis intervention services to clients and caregiversComplete mental health notes, functional behavioral analyses, treatment plans, and other paperwork as indicatedMaintain accurate documentation and paperwork including but not limited to timesheets, petty cash, and mileageImplement behavioral interventions to clients and caregiversProvide on-call coverage to the program as scheduledParticipate in all program staff meetings, and other treatment meetings when necessaryParticipate in weekly supervision with the Lead Clinician and/or Program Supervisor Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling/Psychology/Social Work Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evening hours as neededBe part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled with supervisor ahead of timeMust be at least 21 years of ageValid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policyTB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirementsProof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or an HR-approved medical/religious exemption

PREFERRED

Bilingual in SpanishExperience providing strong behavioral interventions with youth in community-based setting
