\n\nHoneywell is hiring an engineering technician to join the Hybrids Lab within the Minneapolis Electronic Test Organization. You will be a contributor to an engineering team, partner with world class engineers and technicians to assemble microwave integrated circuits for use in Honeywell Radar Altimeter products. You will apply expertise to assemble integrated circuits and provide support to the production of our products. You will work with cross-functional departments to ensure project and lab success.
\n\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n\n\n\tPerform microelectronic assembly of hybrid integrated circuit devices on a variety of small production lots.\n\tPerform Thick Film Network Printing and Inspection Operations\n\tSupport Semi-Annual and Annual Laboratory Parts / Chemical Inventories results and contribute to ongoing improvements to assembly standard work.\n\tRecord and report production data.\n\tSet up and change over equipment.\n\tUse measuring and diagnostic tools.\n\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL

\n\n\n\tAbility to read/interpret product drawings, specifications, and schematics.\n\tFollow written assembly and test instructions\n\tComply with applicable Honeywell Quality System Requirements.\n\tWork extensively with microscope and tweezers to accurately place microelectronic components.\n\tExcellent organizational and time management skills to support multiple concurrent assembly lots.\n\tTroubleshooting skills to be able to resolve device performance issues, using basic electronic test instruments.\n\tSafely operate manual, semi-auto, and automatic equipment. \n\tAccurately complete the required documentation in a neat and timely manner.\n\tGood manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and attention to detail.\n\tSoldering skills, ability to obtain solder certification\n\n\nWE VALUE
\n\n\n\tMechanical abilities to be able to do minor repairs and maintenance on assembly equipment and test fixturing.\n\tAbility to improve efficiency and establish a standard production rate in performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.\n\tPractical experience working with engineering equipment.\n\tProven ability to find effective solutions based on root causes; and apply six sigma procedures.\n\tSound technical judgment and opinions.
