Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to design, refine, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems for heavy equipment used in the recycling industry. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the necessary specifications and codes.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, control, and implement hydraulic systems and products.Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards when applicable.Manage engineering projects and deliver them based on customer needs and requirements.Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.Perform quality and performance analysis on new applications.Examine the needs of new equipment, calculate costs, and help prepare budgets.Essential SkillsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Hands-on experience in hydraulic engineering.Deep knowledge of hydraulic manufacturing processes.Understanding of hydraulic engineering codes and safety standards.Ability to identify electrical symbols.Proficiency in reading schematics.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD.Experience with Inventor.Knowledge of valving, manifolds, and flow, and the ability to translate these into drawings.Ability to draw and design electrical panels from scratch or modify pre-existing designs.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Mechanical design and troubleshooting skills.Work Environment

You will work with advanced software such as AutoCAD and Inventor to design hydraulic systems. The role involves both office and on-site work, collaborating closely with engineers and technicians. The work environment emphasizes safety and adherence to engineering standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
