Job Description **JOB FUNCTION/ PURPOSE** The Hydrogeologist is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting ground and water level conditions inside and outside soil/bentonite and cement/bentonite cutoff walls and storm water basins. Salary $24-$27/depending on level of experience. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Obtains water level readings and groundwater samples from monitoring piezometers. + Performs tests on groundwater samples. + Inspects the monitoring piezometers and reports in tabular and graphical presentation. + Other duties as assigned. + Monday through Friday. **_Education/Experience_** : one-year water/wastewater experience preferred. **_Licenses/Certifications_** : Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Other licenses may vary according to specific site and assignments. **_Technical_** : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Basic knowledge of water/wastewater. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. **_Communication_** : Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback. **_Problem Solving & Quality_** **:** Pays attention to detail. Identifies & solves problems.
