Kimley-Horn is seeking a Hydrogeologist with 4+ years of experience to join their Fort Myers, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities Support various assessment and remediation projects, including brownfield development, along with groundwater resource investigations Mentor staff within a team for completion of:Soil and groundwater samplingAquifer performance testing and data evaluationPilot study investigationsEnvironmental complianceObservation of remedial activitiesReport writing agency coordination, and permitting Qualifications 4+ years relevant experienceBachelors or Masters in GeologyAbility to be licensed as a Professional GeologistPossess strong knowledge of state and local environmental regulationsPossess experience with aquifer performance testing and data analysis and working with water management district staffPossess strong technical writing skills and have experience writing detailed technical reportsEnjoy working in both an office environment and in the fieldWillingness and flexibility to travel for projects as neededStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesDesire to provide exceptional client serviceAbility to manage multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to enjoy work independently and on a teamExperience with water use permitting rules and regulationsPractical experience with geographic information systems (GIS), specifically ArcGIS Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
