From wastewater treatment and discharge consents to urban transport routes and streetscapes, District Plan reviews to urban regeneration strategies, our planning work touches on all aspects of people’s lives. **About the role** This role will see you providing support to project managers, team leaders and environmental scientists in our Wainuku/Geosciences team. You will undertake research, field investigations, data analysis, modelling and preparation of reports relating to specialist areas of hydrogeology, whilst developing professionally within a supportive team Day to day tasks would involve: * Assisting with research and investigations in hydrogeology and related sciences * Undertake field assessments, including geological mapping, in-situ permeability tests, infiltration tests and collection of groundwater and soil samples * Work closely with clients to understand, assess and meet their requirements * Supervise subcontractors during site works, including drilling, installation of wells and pump testing * Assisting with technical reports, field assessments and proposals * Provide technical support to the broader Community Development team whilst diversifying your skill set * Traveling as may be necessary for field investigations and site visits.
