Job Description

The Hydrologist will be responsible for conducting hydrological investigations and analyses to support land-related projects. This role involves data collection, modeling, and interpretation of hydrological data to provide insights and recommendations for sustainable water resource management and Flood Risk Studies. 

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field investigations to collect hydrological data, including groundwater and surface water measurements.Develop and implement hydrological models to simulate water flow and distribution.Analyze and interpret hydrological data to assess water availability, quality, and sustainability.Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.Collaborate with the geoconsulting team to integrate hydrological findings into broader environmental and engineering projects.Provide technical expertise and support for water resource management and planning.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards in all hydrological activities.Leading the Flood risk studies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Proven experience in hydrological investigations and modeling.Proficiency in hydrological software (e.g., MODFLOW, HEC-HMS, SWAT).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Knowledge of local environmental regulations and standards is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with GIS and remote sensing tools.Familiarity with groundwater and surface water interaction studies.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

Fieldwork may be required, including travel to various project sites.Office-based work involving data analysis and report preparation.
