Hydrualics Test Engineer
**Title:** Hydrualics Test Engineer **Location:** United States-Kansas-Wellington **Job Number:** 16388 Performs and or assists in hydraulic components for testing, R&D, tooling testing acquisition and support. Hydraulic Test Cell Support including testing aircraft components\troubleshooting\calibration  New Product Acquisition Support- Working with Design Engineers to fabricate a new test stand\fixture to specifications called out in Component Maintenance Manuals . R&D Test Engineering - Solving complex component test issues using reverse engineering processes  Calibration of test instrumentation- Understanding standard units of measurement for accurate calibration of flow,pressure,rpm,thermal,vibration Qualifications: Education/Training :o Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical,Electrical, Manufacturing or Aeronautical Engineering .Thorough knowledge of :o Hydraulics Systems \ Schematics o Pneumatics Systems o CAD Design & Drafting; Proficient in Solid Works o Microsoft office basics\Advanced exceloLab-view\PLC programming o Electrical Schematics Skill to: o Read, analyze, and interpret hydraulic component drawings, technical publications, etc., to determine design intent for creation of hydraulic test stands\testing parameters\instrumentation needed o Use hand measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and with basic measuring instruments such as optical comparator\ Ability to calibrate test stands\instrumentation o Operate Coordinate Measuring equipment, 3D Scanner, Optical Comparators, etc, in Reverse Engineering efforts for new product introduction .o Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fluid mechanics, loads and understand concepts of geometry and trigonometry .o Learn industry-related software that relates to engineering designs o Learn or know FAA CFR145 Repair Station Guidelines o Effectively present information and respond to questions from management o Meet deadline/Schedules laid out by Director of Engineering or General Manager  Obtain Forklift License We are an equal opportunity employer.
