Under the general direction of the Director of Wound Care, The Hyperbaric Technician remains responsible for administering hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy and diagnostic testing to patients of the WHC, under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. (All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician).

Required Qualifications:
within 60 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Registration. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 2 years Healthcare experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Completion of a formal Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program. Coursework/Training Completion of an Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society and National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course.
