Rotating Days | C Shift 6:00AM - 6:00PM CT

Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise to customers regarding the use of BD products and services

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed (incl. QA)

Maintain complete and accurate records of all activities required by departmental policy/procedures including training and quality assurance

Demonstrates understanding of the proper handling of equipment, supplies and gases

Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

Follows Standard Operating Procedures

Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as outlined in procedure

Assists with troubleshooting and problem resolution

Communicates with customer service representatives concerning equipment problems

Participates in Quality Assurance programs


Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and converse in English

Minimum Required: High School Degree or GED equivalent

Completion of training program in Central Service / Sterile Processing preferred

Experience in decontamination process for instruments, surgical case preparation, and endoscope reprocessing

Understanding of all medical device reprocessing, sterilization, and quality assurance practices

Knowledge of FDA guidelines for reprocessing of medical devices

Skill in identifying specialty instrumentation

Working knowledge of healthcare technology

Excellent communication skills

Computer literacy (to include Microsoft Office suite)

Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
